From the "Manage Boxes" button you can create new boxes. The boxes you create can be used as folders to hold certain messages. For example, you may want to create a field trip reminder folder. Once you create your folder, you would put all of your messages about fieldtrips into that folder.
To create a new box, click on the green "Create" button located at the bottom of the Manage Boxes screen.
Then enter the name of the new box in the text box that says "type name here." You will notice a "Choose a parent" dropdown menu which contains all of your other boxes that you created. You would use this option to place a box inside of another box.
To save your new box, click the "Save" button to the right of your screen. All boxes will appear in alphabetical order.
In the picture below you can see your new box in the left navigation. Notice "Another Box" is located inside "Sample Box."
There are three boxes that you will always see in the Message Center, those boxes are: "Inbox," "Trash," and "Sent Items." These boxes are folders that cannot be deleted or changed.
To change the name of your created boxes, IQity allows you to edit those boxes. You can make this change by clicking the "Edit" button next to the name of the box that you wish to change and the name of your box will appear in a white box. You can then rename your box and click on the "Save" button.
You can also delete the box you created. To delete a Message Box, click the checkbox to the left of the name of the box you want to delete, and then click on the blue "Delete" button below. You can delete many boxes at one time. The blue "Delete" button is located next to the "Create" button.
Now that you have completed the third activity of the Message Center Module, let's check your skills.
