Calendar Features

One really nice feature of the calendar in IQity, is the colors. The colors tell us the difference between the types of calendar event. There are four types of calendar events:

1. My LiveBoard - My LiveBoard Events are in purple and will remind you of a scheduled LiveBoard session created by your teacher(s).
2. My Event - My Event is displayed in green and will remind you of any event you created.
3. Class Event - Class Events are orange and will remind you of a fieldtrip or other special activity that is planned for your entire class.
4. School Event - School Events are in red and will remind you of any school wide events that are happening.

As you view the calendar in the screen shot below. Please notice today's date, May 2th, 2008. Do you see that it is blue? The current date will always appear in blue.

And do you see the box with the date that is shaded black? Black boxes tell us which date we are currently viewing; in this example, May 15th, 2008.
