Your teacher may give you an assignment that requires to you to type your words using a certain "font," or "size." People often choose a font and size that they find easy to read.

You will see many familiar options to display your text, such as the font and size. You can change the "Font" and "Size" of your text in a document by selecting the drop down arrow for each option.
If you know exactly which format, font, and size details you want before typing your text, you can select the format, font, and size options prior to typing your text by clicking on the dropdown arrow next to each function.
If you are unsure or change your mind at any time, you can change your format, font, or size by highlighting your text and making your new selection by choosing one of the options from the dropdown menus.
The Font option will give you a selection of various fonts to choose from:

You can change the size of your format and font by choosing one of the choices below. Once you decide upon the best size for your document, just use the dropdown box located next to the word size, and your text will immediately change.
